HR Head [E-commerce Startup]

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic HR Head who will take complete ownership of shaping organizational culture, strengthening HR policies, driving employee engagement, and leading performance management practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business and organizational goals
- Build, nurture, and strengthen a positive, high-performance work culture
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks
- Drive employee engagement, retention, wellness, and organizational development initiatives
- Lead end-to-end performance management processes including KRAs, appraisals, feedback cycles, performance reviews, and employee development plans
- Partner with leadership teams for workforce planning, team structuring, and people strategy
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmations, promotions, and exits
- Ensure smooth HR operations including attendance, leave management, documentation, and policy adherence
- Mentor, manage, and guide the HR team while driving accountability, process efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Responsibilities may vary as per business requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in strategic HR management, preferably in startups or fast-paced organizations
- Strong understanding of performance management systems, employee engagement, HR operations, and labor compliance
- Comfortable independently managing and leading a small HR team of approximately 2–3 team members
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to build scalable HR processes and drive organizational growth
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Prior experience in e-commerce, D2C, or startup environments will be preferred
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
