Key Responsibilities Operate edge banding machines (manual, semi-automatic, or automatic). Set machine parameters including temperature, feed speed, pressure, and glue settings. Apply edge tape to furniture panels and components. Ensure proper edge alignment, adhesion, trimming, scraping, buffing, and finishing. Read production drawings, cut lists, and work orders. Inspect finished products for defects such as gaps, bubbles, misalignment, or poor bonding. Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults. Maintain production records and quality reports. Follow workplace safety procedures and use required PPE. Required Skills Knowledge of edge banding processes and materials (PVC, ABS, veneer). Understanding of MDF, plywood, laminates, and particle board. Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications. Attention to detail and quality control. Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
