Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety during scans.
- Equipment Operation: Operate CT scanners and manage image production parameters.
- Safety Protocols: Follow strict radiation safety guidelines, use protective shielding, and monitor patients.
- Contrast Administration: Administer contrast media (when authorized) and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Documentation: Record patient data, maintain examination logs, and upload images to digital systems like PACS.
- Maintenance: Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
