Job Summary:
We are seeking a Diploma Civil Engineering Fresher to join our team as a Trainee Rebar Detailer. The candidate will be trained to prepare reinforcement detailing drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and fabrication drawings for concrete structures in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist in preparing rebar detailing drawings for structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
- Prepare and update Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Assist in identifying reinforcement requirements based on project drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to resolve detailing issues.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.
- Ensure detailing accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
- Support the preparation of material quantity reports and schedules.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of reinforced concrete structures and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Reading structural drawings.
- Basic understanding of BBS
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Training Provided:
- Rebar detailing principles and standards.
- Preparation of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Industry-standard rebar detailing software.
- Construction and structural drawing interpretation.
