Position: ETL Tester
Experience: 3 – 5 Years
Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Work From Office)
We are looking for a detail-oriented ETL Tester with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in testing data warehousing and ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems.

Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements

Validate data movement from source to target systems across various stages of the ETL pipeline

Perform source-to-target data mapping and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data transformations, aggregations, and business rules

Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and work closely with development teams for resolution

Perform data quality checks including completeness, correctness, duplication, and referential integrity validation

Validate ETL jobs built using tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar

Conduct regression testing after ETL code changes or enhancements

Test data warehouse/BI reports for accuracy against underlying data sources

Prepare test summary reports and maintain test documentation (test cases, defect logs, RTM)

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Developers to understand requirements and mapping documents

Support UAT and assist business users during validation cycles

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field

3–5 years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing

Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, aggregations, subqueries)

Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica / Talend / SSIS / DataStage / Ab Initio – any one or more)

Experience testing on relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or similar)

Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension tables, SCDs)

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, etc.)

Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting (preferred)

Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) for report validation is a plus

Knowledge of Python or automation scripting for data validation is an added advantage
