Business Development Intern (Lead Generation & Appointment Setting)About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and confident Business Development Intern to help us generate new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be identifying potential clients, reaching out to them through various channels, and scheduling qualified meetings for our founder.
If you enjoy communicating with people, researching businesses, and contributing directly to business growth, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients through Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other online platforms.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified prospects.
- Reach out to prospects via phone calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Introduce our services and understand the prospect's interest.
- Follow up consistently with interested leads.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for the founder with qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, conversations, and meeting statuses in spreadsheets or CRM software.
- Share daily and weekly reports on outreach efforts, responses, meetings booked, and pipeline status.
- Continuously explore new lead sources and outreach strategies.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil (additional languages are a plus).
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
- Strong internet research skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and professional networking.
