Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong expertise in NX Software and the Automotive Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently creating CNC programs for large and complex components, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring high-quality production with minimal cycle time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machining programs using Siemens NX (NX CAM).
- Independently create CNC programs for large and complex automotive components.
- Analyze engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and customer specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, machining parameters, and tooling strategies.
- Generate tool paths for multi-axis CNC machines while ensuring machining accuracy.
- Conduct simulation and verification of CNC programs to avoid collisions and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with Production, Tool Room, and Quality teams during new product development.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
- Reduce machining cycle time while maintaining product quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain programming documentation, setup sheets, and process instructions.
- Support production during first-off trials and ensure smooth program implementation.
- Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–9 years of CNC Programming experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens NX CAM (NX Software).
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and G-code programming.
- Experience programming large and complex machined components.
- Familiarity with CNC machining centers, tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
