Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products from concept, design, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Prepare 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings using SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
- Develop mechanical systems, fabricated structures, sheet metal, welded assemblies, and machined components.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering change notes (ECN), and design documentation.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Develop and validate prototypes through testing and performance evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, and value engineering.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Service, and Vendor teams to ensure successful product launch.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues during product development.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and 3D CAD design.
- Experience in machine design, product development, and prototype validation.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, welding, machining, casting, and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering standards.
- Ability to independently handle complete product development projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in New Product Development.
- Experience in agricultural equipment, dairy machinery, industrial machinery, or SPM manufacturing is preferred.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
