We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospital Electrician with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our NABH-accredited healthcare facility. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations, patient safety, and compliance with NABH standards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems throughout the hospital.
- Monitor and maintain electrical panels, transformers, UPS systems, generators, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Ensure continuous power supply to critical hospital areas such as ICUs, OTs, emergency departments, laboratories, and diagnostic units.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and equipment.
- Maintain and test DG sets, UPS systems, batteries, and emergency backup systems.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives and electrical safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with NABH guidelines, hospital safety protocols, and statutory electrical regulations.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and service reports.
- Coordinate with biomedical, engineering, and facility management teams for smooth hospital operations.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support as required.
Minimum 1 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a hospital, healthcare facility, or large commercial building.
ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
