We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – HR & Administration to independently manage the complete Human Resources, Administration, Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliance, Security, Transportation and Government Liaison functions for our terminal operations at Kandla.
Hiring – Assistant Manager (HR & Administration)
Location: Kandla, Gujarat
CTC : Up to INR 8.00 LPA (Based on experience and competency).
Experience: 8–12 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Chemical, Petrochemical, Logistics, Port, Tank Terminal, Warehouse, EPC or Process Industry.
Qualification: MSW / MBA (HR) / PGDM (HR) – Mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, HRIS, ERP/SAP and Payroll Software.
- Good knowledge of statutory compliance software and digital HR systems.
Language
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee life cycle including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, employee engagement, retention, disciplinary actions, separation and full & final settlement.
- Handle payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, HRIS, employee records, documentation and HR operations.
- Drive the Performance Management System (PMS), KRA/KPI implementation, annual appraisal process and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Labour Laws, Factory Act, Contract Labour, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Professional Tax, LWF and other statutory requirements, including timely filing of returns and maintenance of statutory records.
- Handle Industrial Relations (IR), employee grievances, disciplinary matters and contractor workforce management while maintaining a healthy work environment.
- Manage complete administration including housekeeping, transportation, guest house, canteen, office facilities, infrastructure, utilities, asset management, vendor management and annual maintenance contracts.
- Supervise security operations including access control, visitor management, security agencies and emergency preparedness.
- Liaise with Government Departments including Labour Office, Factory Inspectorate, PF, ESIC, Police, Fire Department and other statutory authorities.
- Monitor contractor compliance, statutory documentation, wage compliance and labour deployment as per legal requirements.
- Coordinate employee induction, training programmes, statutory trainings and HR policy implementation.
- Prepare, review and analyze Daily, Weekly and Monthly HR MIS, manpower reports, compliance dashboards and management reports with actionable insights.
- Coordinate internal, external and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Work closely with Management and Department Heads to strengthen HR processes, employee productivity, compliance and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead the HR & Administration team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the facility.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
