Key Responsibilities:

Study of reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the plant equipment.

Develop sub-assembly and assembly drawings based on inputs from the manager.

Prepare Bill of Material (BOM).
-
Update and revise drawings in accordance with manufacturing requirements.

Prepare and self-check detailed drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting Engineer.

Prepare and self-check equipment piping drawings.
-
Obtain approval from the checker and submit drawings to the Supervisor/Engineer.
Skills and Experience Required:

ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience range: 3 to 5 years.

Experience in equipment engineering for heavy machinery.

Hands-on experience with Creo is mandatory.
-
Familiarity with various national and international standards.
-
Knowledge of welding and machining symbols.
-
Understanding of assembly processes.

Knowledge of fits, tolerances, geometric tolerances and dimensioning.
-
Ability to effectively communicate and report technical issues to the reporting engineer/manager.
-
Exposure to steel plant or non-ferrous metal plant will be an added advantage.
