Lorio Homes is a leading premium showroom specializing in imported Italian marble, luxury tiles, sanitaryware, and interior solutions. We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and experienced Driver to support our day-to-day business operations by ensuring safe and timely transportation of employees, materials, and documents.
Position Summary
The Driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely and efficiently for business-related travel. The role includes transporting employees, customers (when required), and materials, while ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and all travel activities are properly documented.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles for official business purposes.
- Transport employees, management, customers, and visitors as required.
- Deliver documents, samples, and materials to clients, vendors, project sites, and other locations.
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off schedules.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair requirements promptly.
- Keep track of fuel consumption, vehicle servicing schedules, insurance, pollution certificates, and registration renewals.
- Maintain an accurate logbook of daily trips, travel distance, and official assignments.
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines.
- Support other administrative or logistics-related tasks when assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid LMV Driving License (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional driving experience.
- Good knowledge of routes across Kerala. Knowledge of interstate travel is an added advantage.
- Ability to use Google Maps and navigation applications.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Good communication and professional behavior.
Compensation
- Competitive monthly salary.
- Travel Bata/Allowance will be provided separately based on the official distance covered , as per the company's travel policy.
- Other statutory benefits as applicable under company policy.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
