We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations of our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, workforce management, quality control, process improvement, and ensuring smooth factory operations while achieving production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily factory and shop floor operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum quality and efficiency.
- Lead and supervise production, maintenance, stores, and quality teams.
- Monitor productivity, machine utilization, and operational performance.
- Implement and maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and dispatch departments.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and minimize production wastage.
- Utilize ERP systems for production planning, inventory management, and reporting.
- Analyze production data and prepare management reports.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements
- B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in factory/manufacturing operations.
- Experience in Steel, Stainless Steel, or Metal Manufacturing Industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred.
- Proven experience in handling large teams and shop floor operations.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
