Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Purchase & Stores Executive to manage procurement activities and inventory operations for our hospitality property. The role involves sourcing quality products, maintaining optimum inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure materials, supplies, and services required for hotel operations.
- Source competitive quotations and negotiate with vendors to achieve the best value.
- Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and service providers.
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate timely deliveries.
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain stock of housekeeping supplies, kitchen consumables, engineering materials, guest amenities, office stationery, and operational supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inward and outward stock records.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and Accounts departments regarding material requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and preservation of inventory items.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and expired inventory.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and inventory control procedures.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase, stores, inventory, or procurement, preferably in the hospitality, hotel, serviced apartment, or facility management industry.
- Good knowledge of inventory management practices and procurement processes.
- Experience in vendor management and purchase documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software or ERP systems (experience with Zoho Books/Inventory will be an added advantage).
- Good analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹10,865.81 - ₹37,333.05 per month
