Job Description – Intern (Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code - IBC)

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) practice. The intern will gain practical exposure to corporate insolvency resolution processes (CIRP), liquidation, bankruptcy proceedings, legal documentation, and financial analysis while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in matters related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
- Support the team in preparing case files, reports, and presentations.
- Conduct legal and financial research on insolvency-related matters.
- Review financial statements, statutory records, and other relevant documents.
- Assist in claim verification and reconciliation of creditor claims.
- Prepare documentation required for CIRP, liquidation, and other IBC proceedings.
- Maintain case records, trackers, and document repositories.
- Coordinate with internal teams, legal professionals, and other stakeholders as required.
- Assist in drafting meeting minutes, notices, and regulatory filings under the guidance of the team.
- Perform other assignments related to restructuring and insolvency advisory.
Eligibility
- Final-year or penultimate-year students pursuing LLB, B.Com, BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CS, CMA, or related disciplines.
- Strong academic record with an interest in insolvency, restructuring, and corporate laws.
- Basic understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Companies Act, and corporate law is preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
