Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and field-oriented Service Engineer for our Solar After-Sales Service team. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer complaints, troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests related to solar systems and inverters.
This is a field-based role requiring frequent site visits and travel within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend customer complaints and service requests related to solar systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in solar inverters, panels, wiring, and related electrical components.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
- Identify fault codes and provide quick technical resolutions.
- Coordinate with internal technical/support teams for escalations.
- Maintain service reports and update complaint closure status.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective support.
- Follow company safety and service protocols during site visits.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of solar systems and inverter troubleshooting.
- Understanding of On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid, String, and Central Inverters.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in field service operations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: ITI / Diploma (Electrical / Electronics preferred)
- Experience: 2–10 years in Solar / Inverter / Electrical Service
- Age: Up to 37 years
- Own Bike: Mandatory
- Driving License: Mandatory
- Travel Requirement: Comfortable traveling within 400–500 km radius
- Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days preferred
Compensation:
- Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on current/last drawn salary)
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in after-sales service or field service engineering
- Candidates from Solar / Inverter / UPS / Electrical industry preferred
- Strong troubleshooting mindset with field exposure
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
