Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with automation testing experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the WappBiz platform. You will work closely with the Product Owner and development team to build automated test coverage and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Create test plans, test cases, and execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate end-to-end workflows across web and API layers.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain test environments, test data, and QA documentation.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of software QA experience with hands-on automation testing.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API testing using REST APIs and Postman/Newman.
- Experience creating and executing test cases for web applications.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and bug-reporting skills.
- Ability to identify edge cases and ensure thorough test coverage.
Good to Have
- Experience testing SaaS, messaging, chatbot, CRM, or WhatsApp-based platforms.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Gherkin.
- Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript or Python.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
