About the Role
JPK Metallics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Head to lead end-to-end operations of our Ductile Iron (DI) Manhole Cover Manufacturing Division. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in manhole cover production, foundry operations, ductile iron casting, molding processes, and shop floor team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete foundry production operations for DI manhole covers.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Manage production teams, shift in-charges, and supervisors.
- Monitor casting, molding, pouring, and sand preparation processes.
- Reduce rejection rates and improve production efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve casting defects and process-related issues.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, pattern, melting, and dispatch teams.
- Maintain production records, MIS reports, and daily performance metrics.
- Ensure safety, discipline, and process compliance across the shop floor.
Required Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in foundry operations.
- Must have hands-on experience in Ductile Iron (DI) Manhole Cover Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Ductile Iron Casting
- Green Sand & No-Bake Sand Systems
- Molding Processes
- Yield Improvement
- Casting Defect Analysis
- Production Planning & Process Control
- Experience handling labour-intensive manufacturing environments and production teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy.
- Practical foundry experience will be given preference over academic qualifications.
Mandatory Requirement
Candidates without direct experience in Ductile Iron Manhole Cover Manufacturing will not be considered.
