Summary:
UST is looking for a Senior Solution Architect - .NET (Enterprise Modernization) with 20+ years of experience to lead the architecture, modernization, and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in .NET technologies, enterprise architecture, legacy modernization, and modern cloud-native application design, while driving technical excellence across distributed teams.
The Opportunity:
UST is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to drive architecture and delivery for large-scale enterprise applications. This role involves working across legacy ASP.NET applications and modern .NET Core platforms, leading enterprise modernization initiatives, and ensuring high performance, scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence.
Own end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications.
Lead legacy modernization initiatives, transforming ASP.NET applications into Microservices, APIs, and Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures.
Drive architecture reviews, solution design, and code quality governance across programs.
Design and implement event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ and messaging platforms.
Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and high availability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and leadership teams to define technology roadmaps.
Establish engineering standards, architecture patterns, best practices, and governance.
Leverage AI-powered development accelerators and productivity tools to improve modernization initiatives.
Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across multiple programs.
Work effectively with distributed teams to ensure successful project delivery using Agile/SAFe methodologies.
What you need:
20+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise application development.
Strong expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
Extensive experience in legacy ASP.NET application modernization.
Hands-on experience with Microservices and Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture.
Strong knowledge of RabbitMQ, messaging systems, and event-driven architecture.
Expertise in architecture governance, enterprise design patterns, and solution architecture.
Experience in application performance tuning, scalability, and optimization.
Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
Experience in the US Healthcare domain.
Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
Exposure to AI-driven development accelerators and engineering productivity tools.
Experience working with globally distributed teams.
Client-facing consulting experience with executive-level communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred education from Tier-1 institutes (IIT/equivalent/global universities).
20+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, modernization, and technical leadership.
