Role Overview
The Kamala Trust is looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor to transform raw footage from our field projects into powerful visual stories. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that captures the heart of our mission—empowering women and children—and inspires our global community to take action.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Post-Production: Edit raw footage into compelling short documentaries, interviews, and impact stories.
- Social Media Content: Create high-energy, engaging videos optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
- Technical Excellence: Perform color grading, sound design/mixing, and add motion graphics or transitions to ensure a professional finish.
- Subtitling: Create and sync accurate subtitles in English and Hindi to make our content accessible to a wider audience.
- Archive Management: Organize and maintain a library of raw and edited footage for future use.
Requirements & Skills
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Visual Storytelling: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to build an emotional narrative through pacing and music.
- Motion Graphics: Basic knowledge of After Effects for creating titles and lower thirds.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high production standards even with tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
