Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MD General Medicine Consultant to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical care. The consultant will be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, patient counselling, follow-up and coordination with other specialties.
The position will be offered on a percentage/revenue-sharing basis, with remuneration calculated as an agreed percentage of eligible professional/consultation revenue generated by the doctor.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct OPD consultations and comprehensive clinical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment and medication plans.
- Provide regular follow-up consultations and monitor patient progress.
- Review and interpret laboratory, radiology and other diagnostic investigations.
- Attend to medical emergencies when required.
- Provide consultation for inpatients, where applicable.
- Conduct ward rounds and review treatment progress.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists whenever required.
- Coordinate with other departments for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Counsel patients and relatives regarding diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure appropriate use of investigations and medications.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection-control procedures and patient-safety standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits and quality-improvement activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, professional ethics and medico-legal standards.
- Support the hospital/clinic in improving patient satisfaction and continuity of care.
Percentage-Based Compensation
Remuneration:
- Consultant will be paid on a percentage-sharing basis as mutually agreed between the doctor and the hospital/clinic.
- Percentage may be calculated on eligible consultation/professional fees collected from patients.
- The applicable percentage, payment cycle and eligible revenue components will be clearly mentioned in the consultant agreement.
- Payment will be made monthly based on actual collections/revenue generated.
- Any exclusions, such as discounts, refunds, insurance deductions or third-party payments, should be specified in the agreement.
Eligibility
- MBBS + MD/DNB in General Medicine.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Experience in General Medicine/Consultant Physician role preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
