Build and implement solutions/automation scripts using Python for cost monitoring and optimization.

Analyze cloud usage patterns and consistently deliver actionable insights to improve cost efficiency.

Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time cost tracking and reporting.

Work with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch to handle and optimize resource utilization.

Implement tagging strategies and carry out resource management policies.

Coordinate with multi-functional teams to align on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

Stay updated on AWS pricing models and recommend cost-saving measures.

Use AWS-native tools such as Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Trusted Advisor for financial analysis.

Effectively influence, direct, and monitor project work.

Apply established relationships for effective collaboration within the team, across business areas, and with other levels.
Qualifications:

Over 6-8 years of experience in IT operations management.

Engineering graduate (B.E. / B.Tech / M.S. / M.Tech Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject area).

Proficiency in Python with experience in automation, scripting, and data manipulation.

Good understanding of AWS Services and their pricing models.

Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for Python.

Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost management tools.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on cloud financial optimization.

Effective communication skills to work across teams and present financial insights.

Good English interpersonal skills.

Exposure to a global working environment.
