Job Summary
The institution seeks to appoint a qualified and committed Primary English Teacher to contribute to the academic excellence of the school. The incumbent will be responsible for imparting foundational English language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—through structured and engaging pedagogical practices appropriate for primary-level learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum
- Foster the development of students’ reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and grammatical accuracy
- Employ appropriate teaching methodologies, instructional aids, and classroom activities to facilitate effective learning
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through assessments, assignments, and continuous observation
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure a disciplined, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment
- Prepare and maintain lesson plans, teaching resources, and academic records
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and institutional events as required
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic staff to support overall student development
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related discipline
- B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification is preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant teaching experience at the primary level
- Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Familiarity with basic computer applications and digital teaching tools
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
