Project Manager - Supply chain will be responsible to execute Complex and critical Projects spanning across multiple Categories / multiple sites / business ledgers / suppliers directly
impacting the organizational goal achievement in resiliency, cost out and revenue protection. This role will also play a crucial role in Process Standardization leading to Smoother
project executions and implementations and will oversee the portfolio level process compliance management and reporting
1) Lead and execute direct material cost-out and productivity projects through cross-functional teams of 10+ senior stakeholders, leveraging manufacturing process knowledge,
supplier negotiations, and category management strategies.
2) Drive sourcing program management initiatives through structured Phase-Gate governance, presenting project progress, risks, escalations, and value realization to Leadership.
3) Utilize data analysis and market intelligence to identify cost-reduction opportunities, support sourcing decisions, and maintain a robust knowledge management repository.
4) Manage end-to-end sourcing projects, including supplier selection, RFPs, technical reviews, APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction activities to ensure successful launches.
5) Lead risk management activities by identifying critical-path issues, implementing mitigation plans, and proactively escalating project risks to stakeholders and leadership teams.
6) Coordinate with global supply chain, engineering, quality, and commodity teams to ensure timely value capture, cost savings realization, and achievement of financial and
operational KPIs.
7) Facilitate governance reviews with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, supplier performance, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement.
8) Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality and supply risks, ensuring on-time project completion, ramp-up success, and operational excellence.
9) Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving commercial negotiations, cost optimization, and compliance with organizational ethics and supplier management
standards.
10) Track project KPIs, metrics, timelines, and value realization through effective reporting and analytics.
11) Analyze project data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership reviews.
12) Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
13) Maintain project documentation, governance records, and status updates to ensure alignment and transparency.
14) Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
