Your work profile
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Product Owner to lead the development, implementation, and management of data analytics and reporting solutions for the Planning function within the Supply Chain organization. This role is responsible for defining and executing the analytics strategy, ensuring that the planning organization has access to accurate, real-time, and actionable insights to enhance demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and overall decision-making.
- The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, data teams, and IT, translating operational requirements into data-driven solutions that drive efficiency, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance supply chain agility.
Key skills required:
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or product ownership, preferably within a supply chain planning environment.
- Btech/BE/MBA required
- Expertise in data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and proficiency in SQL.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning data, including demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions that enhance planning efficiency.
- Experience working in Agile environments, managing backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
Additional Skills
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure).
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
- Familiarity with Advanced Planning Systems (APS) such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder.
- Experience with machine learning applications in supply chain, such as demand forecasting, predictive inventory management, and scenario modeling.

- Proven experience managing engineering teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities.

Your role as a manager:
Analytics Strategy & Product Ownership
- Define and oversee the data analytics and reporting roadmap for the Supply Chain Planning function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the development and management of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to enhance forecast accuracy, demand-supply balancing, and inventory visibility.
- Prioritize analytics initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and stakeholder needs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain planning leaders, demand planners, and inventory management teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Partners with data engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and accessibility of planning data from various sources.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, and supply chain responsiveness.
Data Analytics & Reporting Execution
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Oversee data pipeline development and integration from multiple sources, including ERP, Advanced Planning Systems (APS), Demand Forecasting tools, and Inventory Management systems.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting solutions.
- Promote self-service analytics, enabling planning teams to efficiently access and utilize data.
