Job Summary
Lokmanya Hospital Medical Store (LHMS) is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Warehouse Executive to coordinate with vendors and internal teams for smooth movement of materials. The role involves tracking dispatches, monitoring shipment status, ensuring timely delivery to designated centres, reporting damages or shortages, and maintaining accurate records of all inward consignments.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with vendors to confirm material dispatch as per purchase orders.
Track dispatched shipments and monitor their transit status until delivery.
Verify the quantity of material dispatched against the purchase order and dispatch documents.
Follow up with transporters and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with receiving centres to confirm receipt of materials.
Record and report shortages, excess quantities, damaged goods, or transit-related issues.
Escalate delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, or quality concerns to the Warehouse Coordinator and Procurement team.
Maintain dispatch tracking sheets, delivery records, and shipment status reports.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth material movement.
Ensure all delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, and transport documents are received and filed properly.
Assist in preparing daily and weekly shipment status reports.
Support inventory updates after successful receipt of materials.
Perform any other warehouse coordination activities assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline (Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations are welcome to apply.
Required Skills
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Basic understanding of warehouse and logistics processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and documentation.
Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and internal stakeholders.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Problem-solving approach with the ability to escalate issues promptly.
