Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Coating Machine Operator to operate and monitor tablet coating machines in the production department. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operation, maintaining product quality, following GMP and safety guidelines, and completing batch manufacturing activities as per approved SOPs and batch manufacturing records.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Tablet Coating Machine as per approved SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Perform coating operations as per specified process parameters, including temperature, spray rate, pan speed, inlet/outlet air temperature, and coating solution parameters.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and handling of tablets during the coating process.
- Monitor machine performance and identify abnormalities during operation.
- Maintain required coating process parameters and ensure uniform coating quality.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, and Maintenance teams for smooth batch execution.
- Perform machine cleaning, line clearance, and changeover activities as per SOP and GMP requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of batch records, equipment usage logs, cleaning records, and other production documents.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Report any machine breakdown, process deviation, or quality issue to the concerned supervisor immediately.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and coordinate with the Maintenance team when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the coating area and equipment.
- Follow all safety precautions while handling coating solutions, equipment, and machinery.
- Ensure minimum process loss and optimum utilization of materials and resources.
- Perform other production-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Tablet Coating Machine operation.
- Understanding of coating process parameters and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of GMP and production documentation.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and BMRs.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious approach.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or tablet manufacturing plants, particularly in tablet coating operations, will be preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,109.81 per month
