Job PurposeWe are seeking a passionate, highly skilled 3D & VFX Faculty member to train, mentor, and inspire the next generation of creative professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Delivery:
Conduct engaging, practical classroom and lab sessions covering end-to-end 3D and VFX pipelines.Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Design, update, and implement structured lesson plans, assignments, and project-based learning assessments based on current market trends.
Mentorship & Showreels: Actively guide students through their final capstone projects, portfolio building, and showreel development to maximize placement potential.Student Evaluation: Monitor, assess, and provide constructive, detailed feedback on student submissions and practical exercises.Industry Alignment: Stay abreast of evolving software updates, new digital production pipelines, and emerging tech (such as real-time rendering) to keep course delivery fresh and relevant.
Technical Skills & Software Domain:Candidates should possess strong practical expertise in at least one or both of the core areas below:1. 3D Animation & PipelineCore Software: Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.Specialized Areas: Poly-modeling, UV Unwrapping, Texturing (Substance Painter), Rigging, Character/Prop Animation, Lighting, Shading, and Rendering workflows.2. Visual Effects (VFX) & CompositingCore Software: Foundry Nuke, Adobe After Effects, Blackmagic Fusion.Specialized Areas: Rotoscoping, Clean Plate/Paint, Matchmoving/3D Tracking (3D Equalizer/Mocha), Chroma Keying (Green/Blue screen), Matte Painting, and Particle/Dynamics Simulation.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Degree, Diploma, or professional certification in Animation, VFX, Film Production, or Multimedia from a recognized institute.Professional Experience: Minimum 8+ years of working in a VFX/Animation production studio or an established training institute.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to break down complex technical workflows into accessible, bite-sized steps for learners.
