We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-aligned Assistant Manager to support donor reporting, budgeting, and fund utilization across programs. This role is critical to ensuring that donor funds are managed responsibly, financial reporting is accurate and timely, and budgets are planned and monitored effectively. The position requires close collaboration with program and finance teams to strengthen compliance, improve cost control, and build transparent, efficient financial systems that support organisational impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage donor-wise fund utilisation in line with grant conditions, approved budgets, and internal controls.'
- Prepare donor financial reports, utilisation certificates, and supporting schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting in partnership with program and support teams.
- Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and support teams in strengthening financial planning and cost control.
- Support compliance with donor, statutory, and organisational requirements, including documentation for audits and reviews.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CA / CMA (completed or pursuing) will be an advantage.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in budgeting, donor reporting, grant finance, or financial planning and analysis.
- Prior experience in the development, nonprofit, trust, or society sector will be strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of donor compliance requirements, budgeting cycles, and financial reporting processes is desirable.
