Chetana Empowerment Foundation is adopting 40 deserving students for their higher education through the Chetana Jeevan Nirman Project. This is a holistic student development initiative that goes beyond financial support by providing mentorship, life skills, mental wellbeing, career guidance, and continuous personal development.
We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Student Mentor who can become a trusted guide for these students and support them throughout their educational journey.

Student Mentor (Full-Time)
About the Project
The Chetana Jeevan Nirman Project is a complete student adoption initiative where every student receives continuous support to help them become confident, responsible, and self-reliant individuals. Along with educational assistance, the project focuses on emotional wellbeing, career planning, digital wellness, value education, and personality development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a strong mentoring relationship with assigned students.
- Regular one-to-one mentoring.
- Help students overcome academic, emotional, social, and personal challenges.
- Track students' academic progress, attendance, and overall development.
- Coordinate with parents, colleges, teachers, and the Chetana team.
- Motivate students to achieve their educational and career goals.
- Organize life skills, leadership, mental wellbeing, and career development sessions.
- Maintain student records, mentoring reports, and progress documentation.
- Identify students who need additional support and connect them with the appropriate resources.
- Be available to guide students in managing day-to-day challenges with empathy and professionalism.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (MSW, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or Counselling preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English
- Strong listening, counselling, and interpersonal skills
- Good computer knowledge (MS Office & Google Workspace)
- Passion for working with youth and making a social impact
- Willingness to travel for student visits when required
Experience
- Experienced with a genuine passion for mentoring are welcome.
- Experience in education, counselling, NGO work, youth development, or community outreach will be an added advantage.
Salary
₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
(Based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.)
