Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Indian 1st Commi to support our Indian kitchen department. In this role, you will be responsible for the primary preparation of ingredients and cooking dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Mise en Place: Execute daily food preparation (chopping vegetables, marinating meats, preparing gravies/pastes) before service begins.
Cooking: Assist in cooking high-quality Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in flavor, portion size, and presentation.
Station Maintenance: Keep the workstation organized, clean, and stocked with necessary ingredients.
Food Safety: Ensure all food items are stored correctly (FIFO method) and handle equipment safely.
Collaboration: Follow instructions closely from the DCDP and CDP to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
Experience working as a 1st or 2nd Commi in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
Solid understanding of basic Indian cooking methods and kitchen hygiene.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
