Job Summary
Telawne Power Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Transformer Testing to lead and manage transformer testing activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in power and distribution transformer testing, team management, and quality assurance within a transformer manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and monitor all transformer testing activities.
- Conduct routine, type, special, and acceptance tests on power and distribution transformers.
- Ensure testing is carried out as per IS, IEC, and customer specifications.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Design, and Customer Inspection teams.
- Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of testing equipment.
- Identify testing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead customer inspections and support third-party audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality management systems.
- Train, guide, and monitor the testing team to improve productivity and quality.
- Maintain testing records, documentation, and reports accurately.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of transformer testing procedures and standards.
- Hands-on experience in routine, type, and special transformer tests.
- Good understanding of IS, IEC, and transformer quality requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and documentation.
Eligibility:
- 10–12 years of experience in Transformer Testing.
- Experience in Transformer Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to lead a testing team and handle customer inspections independently.
