A professional driver is responsible for safely operating vehicles to transport passengers, documents, or goods. They ensure timely arrivals, maintain vehicle condition, follow traffic laws, and provide excellent customer service.
- Safe Navigation: Plan the most efficient routes using GPS tools while actively avoiding traffic, construction, and weather delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily safety and mechanical inspections, keep the vehicle clean, and arrange for routine servicing or repairs.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely lift, organize, and secure cargo or assist passengers with luggage.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all local traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate trip logs, track mileage, and handle delivery receipts or passenger payments.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients, staff, or the public.
Essential Requirements
- Licensing: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (commercial licenses may be required depending on vehicle class).
- Physical Stamina: The ability to sit for long periods and lift heavy objects.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps) and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Soft Skills: Punctuality, strong time-management abilities, and excellent situational awareness
