Role Overview
We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Business Generalist to work directly with the founder in setting up the business
and driving initial sales. This isn't a narrowly defined role, you'll move fluidly between operations, vendor
coordination, compliance, and field sales as the business demands. If you like ambiguity, enjoy building from scratch,
and want outsized ownership early in your career, this is for you.
What You'll Do
Business Setup & Operations
- Assist in setting up core business functions: registrations, licensing (FSSAI, BIS/ISI as applicable), vendor
onboarding, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with bottling/manufacturing partners, packaging suppliers, and logistics providers
- Help build and maintain basic operational systems (inventory tracking, order processing, vendor payments)
- Support financial hygiene, invoicing, expense tracking, and basic reconciliation
Sales & Market Development
- Drive initial sales efforts, with a focus on HoReCa and Retail.
- Identify and approach prospective distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers
- Conduct on-ground market visits, product sampling, and relationship-building with early customers
- Gather market feedback to sharpen pricing, packaging, and positioning
- Help create simple sales collateral and pitch materials
General Execution
- Take on cross-functional tasks as priorities shift, this role will evolve with the business
- Work closely with the founder as a thought partner on strategy and execution
What We're Looking For
- 0-1 years of experience in a startup, FMCG, sales, or operations role (early-career candidates are welcome)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-changing environment
- Strong communication skills, you'll be talking to vendors, distributors, and customers regularly
- Willingness to travel locally for market visits and sales calls
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking and reporting
- A genuine interest in consumer brands, F&B, or sustainability is a plus

Pay: ₹11,537.77 - ₹15,000.00 per month
