About the Company
Our client is an innovative healthcare technology company building cutting-edge digital platforms for precision reproductive medicine. Their technology powers clinical decision support systems, diagnostic platforms, workflow automation, and patient-facing applications used by hundreds of healthcare providers across India and globally.
We are looking for a Hands-on Technical Team Lead who enjoys building products and writing production-quality code every day. This is a highly technical leadership role where you'll contribute directly to the codebase while mentoring a small engineering team and owning the reliability of production systems.
Note: This is not a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Scrum Master role. Candidates must be actively involved in software development and architecture.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Next.js, Nest.js, and FastAPI .
- Build robust REST APIs, backend services, and modern frontend applications.
- Translate product and business requirements into clean, maintainable software solutions.
- Review code, enforce engineering best practices, testing standards, and documentation.
- Own production deployments, system reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Manage Azure infrastructure, application environments, releases, rollbacks, and monitoring.
- Implement secure coding practices, access control, and data protection standards.
- Lead a small engineering team through technical mentoring, code reviews, and task prioritization.
- Collaborate closely with product, leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in hiring and technical interviews while contributing to team growth.
- 6–10 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on coding expertise.
- 4+ years of experience leading small engineering teams while actively contributing to development.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and microservices.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Container Apps, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault).
- Experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines .
- Strong knowledge of Docker , environment management, and secrets management.
- Excellent SQL skills with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, testing frameworks, and modern software development practices.
- Experience in Healthcare, Diagnostics, HealthTech, or other regulated industries.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into production applications.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
- Observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Sentry, or Azure Application Insights.
- Startup or product engineering experience.
- Passionate about writing clean, production-quality code.
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
- High ownership with a bias for action.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities.
- Comfortable challenging ideas with data and engineering best practices.
- Able to mentor engineers while remaining an active individual contributor.
