Role Summary
The HR Executive – Statutory & Labor Law Compliance is responsible for ensuring complete compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations. The role includes managing PF, ESI, PT, Labour Welfare Fund, contractor compliance, statutory filings, audits, inspections, and maintaining statutory records across all company locations and project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, including EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Maternity Benefit Act, Contract Labour Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Process monthly PF, ESI, PT, and LWF contributions and ensure timely challan payments and statutory returns.
- Manage registrations, amendments, renewals, and compliance activities on EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha, and other government portals.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and documentation as required under applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure statutory deductions are accurate and compliant.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance by verifying labour licenses, PF/ESI registrations, wage registers, attendance, and statutory documents.
- Support labour law inspections, statutory audits, and government enquiries by preparing and maintaining all required records.
- Liaise with Labour Department, EPFO, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory authorities for compliance matters.
- Track amendments in labour laws and recommend implementation of revised compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly statutory compliance reports and MIS for management.
- Maintain complete employee compliance documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and Statutory Compliance.
- Hands-on experience with EPFO, ESIC, PT, LWF, Shram Suvidha, and labour compliance portals.
- Experience in contractor labour compliance and statutory documentation.
- Good understanding of payroll compliance and statutory calculations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS/Payroll software.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with government authorities and manage statutory audits.
