Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Counselor to support the academic, social, emotional, and personal development of students. The ideal candidate will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to promote student well-being and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students for academic, emotional, behavioral, and social concerns.
- Identify students who require additional support and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Guide students in managing stress, anxiety, peer relationships, and personal challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress and well-being.
- Conduct workshops and awareness programs on mental health, life skills, career guidance, and personal development.
- Maintain confidential counseling records and prepare reports as required.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide timely support during emergencies.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.
- Refer students to external specialists when necessary.
Eligibility
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Salary
As per qualifications and experience.
- 1–2 years of counseling experience (school experience preferred).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with students.
Knowledge of child and adolescent development and counseling techniques.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
