KarmaDevi Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Faculty (Head of Department – BBA/BCA) to lead the department with academic excellence, innovation, and strong leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee academic planning, faculty management, student development, and departmental administration while ensuring high-quality education and industry relevance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the BBA/BCA department and ensure smooth academic operations.
- Deliver engaging lectures in the relevant subject area.
- Plan academic calendars, timetables, lesson plans, and ensure timely syllabus completion.
- Mentor and supervise faculty members to enhance teaching quality.
- Monitor student performance, attendance, discipline, and academic progress.
- Organize seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and skill development programs.
- Develop industry collaborations, internships, and placement opportunities.
- Coordinate admissions, counselling, and student engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with university, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Promote research, innovation, faculty development, and continuous quality improvement.
- Prepare departmental reports, documentation, and academic records.
Eligibility for BBA/BCA
- MBA or equivalent Master's Degree in Management from a recognized university.
- MCA / M.Tech (Computer Science/IT) / M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
Experience
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in a higher education institution.
- Prior experience as HOD, Department Coordinator, or Academic Administrator will be preferred.
- Experience in admissions, academic planning, NAAC/NBA/UGC compliance, and industry collaborations is an added advantage.
