Role Purpose
We are not seeking a conventional HR Manager focused on payroll, administration, or employee engagement. This is a hardcore, hands-on, high-speed recruitment and resource coordination role.
Operating at an intense, project-driven pace, you will be the single-point execution engine responsible for personally sourcing, screening, negotiating rates, and closing full-time, contractual, and freelance talent globally, in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Focus: 80% Aggressive Sourcing & Closing | 20% Talent Pool Management & Coordination
Profiles You Will Regularly Recruit
You must have a proven track record of finding and closing these specific roles:
- E-Learning & Localization: Articulate Storyline 360 Developers, Localization Engineers, Translators, Proofreaders, and Localization Project Managers.
- Media Production: Video Editors, Motion Graphics Editors, Sound Designers, and Human/AI Voice-Over Artists.
- Commercial & Ops: Business Development Executives (BDEs), Sales professionals, Translator Vendor Managers, and MIS/Data Experts.
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Speed Project Recruitment (80% Focus)
- Direct Sourcing Mastery: Personally headhunt talent across Naukri, LinkedIn, specialized global portfolios, and industry networks. (Candidates dependent entirely on external placement agencies will not fit this role).
- Rapid Turnaround SLAs: React instantly when projects ramp up unexpectedly; deliver a calibrated, relevant candidate shortlist within 48 to 72 hours.
- Global Pipeline Management: Concurrently build and manage deep talent funnels for highly niche freelance, contractual, and permanent positions across international time zones.
- Commercial Negotiation: Screen for rigorous technical/creative skills, evaluate portfolios, negotiate competitive salaries or per-word/per-minute freelance rates, and actively minimize offer drop-offs.
2. Specialized Talent Pool & Database Building
- The Flexible Resource Network: Build a ready-to-deploy, warm database of pre-screened assets, cataloguing.
- Native Human Translators & LQA Specialists (covering 150+ languages)
- Voice-Over Artists (classified by language, accent, dialect, and gender)
- Instructional Designers, E-learning Developers (Storyline/Rise), and DTP Artists
- Pan-India Video Crews (Videographers, Directors, Sound Recordists)
- Post-Production Specialists (Editors, Motion Graphic Animators)
- Maintain live parameters for each resource including availability, localized language variants, expected project rates, and performance history.
3. Onboarding & Resource Coordination (20% Focus)
- Contracts & Trackers: Issue and manage project contracts, NDA compliance documentation, and deployment records for freelance and full-time resources.
- Recruitment MIS: Maintain a simple, real-time weekly tracker mapping open vacancies, CVs sourced, interviews lined up, offer acceptance ratios, and projected contract end dates.
- Operational Feedback: Provide weekly visibility to Prachi regarding potential project staffing gaps, resource deployment timelines, and hiring bottlenecks.
Ideal Candidate Profile & Key Skills
- Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of hardcore recruitment and resource sourcing experience.
- Proven track record working inside an E-learning/Learning Content company, Media/Digital Production House, KPO, or a fast-paced Staffing Agency.
- Direct expertise in hiring niche creative and language talent (Translators, Copyeditors, VO talent, Animators, Video Editors).
- Extreme comfort working with global freelance vendors across multiple time zones.
Core Competencies
- Hustle & Execution: You must be highly energized by the day-to-day hustle of scanning portfolios, listening to voice reels, calling candidates, and closing slots yourself.
- Negotiation: Skilled at negotiating project-based rates with freelance linguists and creators without compromising output quality.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to confidently balance filling a pipeline for 5 Instructional Designers, 3 DTP Translators, and 4 Freelance Video Editors all in the same week.
Candidate Red Flags (Do Not Apply If):
- Your primary professional background is in core HR administration (payroll, attendance, employee engagement activities, appraisals, policy drafting).
- You carry a "Manager" title but have stopped personally sourcing, calling, and closing candidates.
