Job Title: Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager

Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining statutory compliance, supporting audits, and providing financial analysis to assist management in decision-making. The role also supervises junior accounting staff and ensures strong internal financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the General Ledger (GL) and ensure accurate accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger balances.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund management.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports, budget reports, and variance analysis for management.
- Monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory accounting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounts assistants.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, and government authorities.
- Support management with financial planning and decision-making through analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com is preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
