Interior Design – Site Supervisor
About the Role
We are looking for a Site Supervisor with strong 2D drafting and moodboard skills to bridge the gap between interior design concepts and on-site execution.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable understanding design drawings, interpreting moodboards, coordinating with vendors and workers, and ensuring that the final execution matches the approved design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise day-to-day interior work at project sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters and other vendors.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project schedule.
- Ensure proper execution of designs and drawings at site.
- Identify site-related issues and coordinate with the design/project team for timely resolution.
2. 2D Drafting & Drawing Interpretation
- Read and understand 2D floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations and working drawings.
- Prepare and modify basic 2D drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Take accurate site measurements and communicate site dimensions to the design team.
- Ensure that on-site execution follows the approved drawings and dimensions.
3. Moodboard & Design Coordination
- Understand and interpret designer-created moodboards.
- Translate design concepts, materials, colours, finishes and furniture specifications into actual site execution.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure the correct materials and finishes are being used.
- Maintain consistency between the approved design concept and the executed work.
4. Quality Control
- Regularly inspect workmanship and material quality.
- Ensure that finishing, alignment, dimensions and detailing meet the required standards.
- Identify defects or deviations and ensure corrective action is taken.
- Conduct regular site checks throughout the project.
5. Vendor & Material Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding material delivery and installation.
- Verify materials received at site against approved specifications.
- Track material requirements and highlight shortages or delays.
- Ensure materials are stored and handled properly at the site.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Provide regular updates on site progress.
- Maintain records of completed and pending work.
- Communicate delays, design changes, site issues and requirements to the project/design team.
- Coordinate between designers, clients, contractors and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of interior design and residential/commercial interior execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / 2D drafting.
- Ability to understand floor plans, elevations and working drawings.
- Ability to create or understand moodboards and material palettes.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes and construction processes.
- Good site coordination and vendor management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in interior design site supervision/execution preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in residential interior projects will be preferred.
Education
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.

The candidate should be comfortable working on-site, coordinating with multiple teams and taking ownership of the quality and progress of assigned projects.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
