The Department of Mathematics invites applications from experienced and dedicated educators for the post of Faculty Member in Mathematics for our Diploma Engineering students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Academic Teaching: Prepare and deliver engaging lectures in Mathematics for Diploma in Engineering students (e.g., Algebra, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Differential & Integral Calculus, Complex Numbers, Differential Equations, Vector Algebra).
- Curriculum & Pedagogy: Prepare detailed lesson plans, course materials, problem sets, and tutorial assignments aligned with the diploma curriculum.
- Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct unit tests, evaluate assignment papers, assign internal assessment marks, and prepare students for semester examinations.
- Student Mentorship: Guide diploma engineering students in problem-solving techniques, hold remedial classes for weak students, and provide academic counseling.
- Departmental Support: Maintain student attendance logs, academic performance registers, and participate in departmental administrative activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Post Graduation (PG / M.Sc.) in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of teaching experience (preferably in polytechnic colleges or engineering institutions teaching diploma/undergraduate students).
- Availability: Immediate Joiner required.
- Core Skills: Strong conceptual command over core mathematical principles and diploma engineering math syllabus.
- Communication: Excellent classroom management and presentation skills in English and Odia.
