Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service operations.
- Lead and manage stewards and service staff during shifts.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining area presentation.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests efficiently.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food and beverage service.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to maintain service standards.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate responsibilities to staff.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies.
- Assist in inventory control of service equipment and supplies.
- Support management in achieving guest satisfaction and operational goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality service.
- Previous experience as Captain, Senior Steward, or similar role preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional attitude.
