Job Summary
ARB Buildcon is looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor – RCC to oversee day-to-day site activities related to reinforced cement concrete (RCC) works for residential building projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising manpower, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all RCC activities including footing, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and related structural works.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
- Monitor shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, curing, and finishing activities.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Verify material usage and ensure proper storage and handling at site.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Report site progress, issues, and resource requirements to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
- Assist in planning manpower deployment and daily work schedules.
- Coordinate with quality and safety teams for inspections and corrective actions.
Requirements
Education:
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in RCC construction and residential building projects.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of RCC construction processes.
- Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
- Good site coordination and manpower handling skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple site activities.
