Job Summary
The Spare Parts Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department by ensuring timely issue and receipt of genuine Maruti Suzuki spare parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing excellent support to the workshop and retail customers. The role ensures efficient stock management and smooth coordination with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue genuine Maruti Suzuki spare parts to the workshop and retail customers as per requisitions.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming spare parts against invoices and purchase orders.
- Arrange and store spare parts systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report stock shortages to the Spare Parts Incharge.
- Support periodic stock verification and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Prepare quotations and invoices for counter sales and internal requirements.
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability.
- Process customer enquiries and provide information on parts availability and pricing.
- Handle spare parts returns, warranty claims, and damaged parts as per company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the spare parts store.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, inventory control procedures, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an automobile spare parts department, preferably in a Maruti Suzuki dealership.
- Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may also be considered.
