Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and imaginative Packaging Designer with expertise in beauty and cosmetic packaging design. The ideal candidate should possess a strong creative vision, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to create visually compelling packaging that reflects brand identity while meeting production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design attractive, innovative, and brand-consistent packaging for beauty and cosmetic products.
- Prepare accurate print-ready artwork files according to manufacturing and production specifications.
- Create engaging front and back label designs while ensuring all mandatory product details are clearly displayed and compliant with industry standards.
- Utilize strong knowledge of typography, color combinations, composition, and visual hierarchy to develop impactful packaging concepts.
- Research current market trends, competitor packaging, materials, and sustainable packaging solutions within the beauty industry.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and compliance teams to maintain consistency across product lines.
- Coordinate with printers and vendors, review proofs, and ensure final packaging quality meets expectations.
- Maintain and organize artwork revisions, updates, and version control throughout the design process.
- Develop packaging solutions that enhance shelf appeal and strengthen brand recognition.
Requirements
- Proven experience in packaging design, preferably within the beauty, skincare, or cosmetic industry.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional packaging projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Good understanding of print production techniques, packaging materials, and finishing processes.
- Familiarity with label design standards and basic regulatory requirements for cosmetic products.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
