At AbleMinds Foundation, we believe art is a powerful medium of expression, especially for children with diverse learning needs. We are looking for a passionate and patient Art Teacher who can inspire creativity while supporting children across the spectrum.
Role Overview
As an Art Teacher, you will work closely with children with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other developmental needs, using art as a tool for expression, sensory engagement, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and structured art sessions tailored to individual abilities
- Use art as a medium for sensory integration, emotional expression, and fine motor development
- Adapt teaching methods to suit children with varying needs
- Collaborate with therapists and special educators for integrated learning plans
- Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Track progress and share feedback with parents and the team
Who We’re Looking For
- Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts or related field
- Experience working with children (experience with special needs is a strong plus)
- Creative, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary environment
