Key Responsibilities: Plant Operator-
· Process Monitoring: Operating different chemical reaction equipment, Knowledge of exothermic and other chemical reactions.
· Safety Adherence: Strictly following internal safety protocols (SOPs) to handle, transfer, and store hazardous materials.
· Equipment Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting machinery, and performing minor maintenance to minimise downtime.
· Data Recording & Reporting: Recording batch data, including temperatures, pressures, and ingredient quantities, in logbooks. Report abnormalities in the plant or processes.
· Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions, and taking necessary actions during emergencies or system upsets.
· Expertise in handling manual equipment like glass-lined reactors (GLR), centrifuges, ANFD, sparkler filters, distillation columns and basic knowledge of utilities like boiler, cooling tower, Chilling plant, DM water plant, R/O plant and vacuum systems
