Job Summary
The Compliance & HR Executive will handle end-to-end statutory compliance and HR coordination, with a strong focus on food safety compliance (FSSAI), licensing, audits, and certification renewals, along with core HR operations support.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Certifications (Core Focus)
- Ensure compliance with **FSSAI regulations for all production units, kitchens, and outlets
- Apply, renew, and maintain FSSAI licenses for all locations
- Maintain and track all statutory licenses and certificates, including:
- Shop & Establishment license
- Trade license
- Fire safety certificate
- Health & sanitation certificates
- Pest control compliance records
- Coordinate food safety audits and inspections (internal & external)
- Maintain documentation required for FSSAI audits and hygiene inspections
- Ensure display of mandatory licenses and compliance documents at outlets
- Track expiry dates and ensure timely renewals without penalties
- Liaise with government departments, consultants, and auditors
HR Operations Support
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support onboarding, induction, and exit formalities
- Assist in attendance, leave tracking, and payroll inputs
- Maintain HR compliance records alongside statutory files
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare compliance checklists and monthly compliance reports
- Maintain audit-ready files for all licenses and certifications
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Maintain digital and physical compliance documentation system
Coordination Role
- Coordinate with operations teams, production units, and store managers
- Work with external consultants for compliance filings and renewals
- Communicate compliance requirements to all departments
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of FSSAI rules and food business compliance
- Knowledge of statutory licensing and renewals
- Good documentation and file management skills
- MS Excel and reporting skills
- Strong follow-up and coordination ability
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in HR / Commerce / Business Administration or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in compliance, HR, or food industry compliance roles
- Experience in FMCG, bakery, or food manufacturing preferred
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience handling FSSAI licensing and audits
- Exposure to factory or food outlet compliance systems
- Experience working with multi-location businesses
