PPAP Documentation Management: Compile, review, and submit PPAP packages (Levels 1-5) to customers. Ensure all 18 elements of the PPAP manual are accurate and complete.
Core Tool Execution: Lead and participate in the development of critical quality documents, including:
PFMEA: Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
Control Plans: Defining inspection points and frequencies.
Process Flow Diagrams: Mapping the manufacturing journey.
Measurement & Testing: Coordinate Dimensional Layouts, Material Test Results, and Performance Test Results. Conduct or oversee MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) and Gage R&R studies.
Statistical Analysis: Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) and Capability Studies ($Cpk$ and $Ppk$ analysis) to ensure process stability and performance.
Supplier Quality: Review and approve PPAP submissions from sub-suppliers to ensure the entire supply chain is compliant.
Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality portals and audits. Resolve any discrepancies or rejections in the submission process.
Continuous Improvement: Use data from PPAP non-conformances to drive internal process improvements and reduce "Time to Approval" for new launches.
Required Qualifications
Education: DME or BE( Mechanical)
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, specifically of PPAP within press shop, weld shop, powder coating processes.
